As part of the newly created Versa Collection, Kandolhu Maldives belongs to a curated selection of the most exclusive island resorts in the Versa Hospitality group. A shared strategic platform brings these exceptional properties together while deliberately preserving each resort’s individual identity and distinctive character.
KANDOLHU MALDIVES – A SMALL, EXQUISITE GEM
Located in North Ari Atoll, Kandolhu Maldives is an exclusive boutique resort that offers one thing above all: privacy. With just 30 villas, the small island feels personal and easy to explore. Attentive, almost family-like service creates a relaxed and intimate atmosphere that appeals to newly enamoured couples and discerning travellers seeking tranquillity alike.
WHERE PRIVACY MEETS CULINARY VARIETY
Kandolhu pairs relaxed luxury with outstanding cuisine. Across five restaurants, a maximum of 60 guests can enjoy an exceptional range of flavours, from Mediterranean specialities and Mexican-Peruvian creations to Japanese cuisine. Acclaimed chefs from around the world regularly visit the resort, showcasing their skills in live cooking experiences and developing new recipes for future menus. In 2027, the culinary programme will feature Tohru Nakamura, Edip Sigl, Theodor Falser and Max Strohe, each of whom has earned at least one Michelin star. Private dining on the beach or in the comfort of a guest’s own villa adds an especially memorable setting for a meal.
AN UNDERWATER PARADISE
Kandolhu is also an exceptional destination for divers and snorkellers. Its spectacular house reef is accessible directly from the jetty and offers encounters with tropical fish, reef sharks, lemon sharks, turtles and, particularly often, eagle rays. Around 35 further dive sites along the northern and southern Ari lagoon reefs can be reached within approximately an hour. The international PADI team supports divers at every level, from beginner courses to Divemaster training.
