Entrevista con Luisa del Carril quien participar de la Ladies Polo Gold Cup.
🎙️ “Aspern tiene todo: nivel, caballos y un ambiente que te dan ganas de volver”, afirma Luisa del Carril, quien se prepara para disputar la Ladies Polo Gold Cup en el Aspern Polo Club de Alemania, del 5 al 7 de julio.
Tras entrenar intensamente en Argentina y jugar en Francia, llega con confianza y entusiasmo: “Es un torneo que me encanta porque combina competencia con buena energía. Tiene un nivel interesante, pero también se vive con alegría, y eso lo hace muy especial”.
Luisa destaca el crecimiento sostenido del polo femenino: “Cada año se suman más jugadoras y más torneos pensados exclusivamente para mujeres, lo cual es clave para seguir desarrollando el deporte”. En ese sentido, Aspern es un ejemplo: “Las canchas están buenísimas, los caballos son muy buenos y el nivel es divertido. Además, se genera un espíritu muy copado: es un lugar súper familiar, se organizan asados para todas las jugadoras y el ambiente es increíble. Todo eso hace que las chicas quieran volver y que más mujeres se animen a sumarse”.
También resalta el rol de la organización: “Eventos bien armados como los que hace Valito en Aspern marcan una diferencia enorme. Ojalá más clubes tomen esa iniciativa, porque eso es lo que realmente impulsa el crecimiento del polo femenino: espacios donde se puede competir, disfrutar y sentirse parte de una comunidad”.
Actualmente en Francia, Luisa está cerrando equipo para jugar en Deauville y, si se da, también en Chantilly. En octubre disputará el Open de París Femenino con el equipo Kazak, un torneo que la entusiasma especialmente: “Me encanta no solo por el nivel de juego, sino por el entorno. Se pasa muy bien y ya tengo muchas ganas de que llegue”. Luego regresará a Argentina para jugar la temporada local: “Es muy divertida y siempre me deja algo nuevo”.
“El polo femenino está creciendo en muchos países, y es hermoso ser parte de ese movimiento”, concluye Luisa!

It has a strong level, but it’s also joyful, and that makes it very special.”
Luisa highlights the steady growth of women’s polo: “Every year more players join and more tournaments are created specifically for women, which is key to developing the sport.” Aspern, she says, is a great example: “The fields are excellent, the horses are top-notch, and the level is fun. Plus, there’s a great vibe: it’s super family-friendly, they organize barbecues for all the players, and the atmosphere is amazing. That makes everyone want to come back and encourages more women to join.”
She also emphasizes the importance of good organization: “Well-run events like the ones Valito puts together at Aspern make a huge difference. I hope more clubs follow that lead, because that’s what really drives the growth of women’s polo: spaces where you can compete, enjoy, and feel part of a community.”
Currently in France, Luisa is finalizing a team to play in Deauville and possibly Chantilly. In October, she’ll compete in the Paris Ladies Open with Team Kazak, a tournament she’s especially excited about: “I love it not only for the level of play but also for the setting. It’s a great experience and I can’t wait for it to start.” After that, she’ll return to Argentina for the local season: “It’s always fun and I learn something new every time.”
“Women’s polo is growing in many countries, and it’s beautiful to be part of that movement,” she concludes with a smile.
🇩🇪 „Aspern hat alles: Niveau, Pferde und eine Atmosphäre, die Lust macht, zurückzukommen“, sagt Luisa del Carril, die sich auf die Teilnahme an der Ladies Polo Gold Cup im Aspern Polo Club in Deutschland vom 5. bis 7. Juli vorbereitet. Nach intensivem Training in Argentinien und Reiteinheiten in Frankreich kommt sie mit viel Zuversicht und Vorfreude: „Es ist ein Turnier, das ich liebe, weil es Wettbewerb mit guter Energie verbindet. Es hat ein starkes Niveau, aber gleichzeitig herrscht eine fröhliche Stimmung – das macht es besonders.“
Luisa betont das stetige Wachstum des Frauenpolos: „Jedes Jahr kommen mehr Spielerinnen dazu und es entstehen mehr Turniere, die speziell für Frauen gedacht sind – das ist entscheidend für die Weiterentwicklung des Sports.“ Aspern sei dafür ein Paradebeispiel: „Die Plätze sind top, die Pferde großartig und das Niveau macht Spaß. Außerdem herrscht eine tolle Stimmung: Es ist sehr familiär, es gibt Asados für alle Spielerinnen und die Atmosphäre ist einfach super. Das sorgt dafür, dass alle wiederkommen wollen und mehr Frauen sich trauen, mitzumachen.“
Sie hebt auch die Bedeutung guter Organisation hervor: „Gut organisierte Events wie die von Valito in Aspern machen einen riesigen Unterschied. Ich hoffe, dass mehr Clubs diesem Beispiel folgen, denn genau solche Räume treiben das Wachstum des Frauenpolos voran – Orte, an denen man spielen, genießen und sich als Teil einer Gemeinschaft fühlen kann.“
Derzeit ist Luisa in Frankreich und stellt ein Team für Deauville und möglicherweise auch Chantilly zusammen. Im Oktober wird sie mit dem Team Kazak am Paris Ladies Open teilnehmen – ein Turnier, auf das sie sich besonders freut: „Ich liebe es nicht nur wegen des Spielniveaus, sondern auch wegen des Ambientes. Es ist ein tolles Erlebnis und ich kann es kaum erwarten.“ Danach geht es zurück nach Argentinien zur lokalen Saison: „Die macht immer Spaß und ich nehme jedes Mal etwas Neues mit.“
„Frauenpolo wächst in vielen Ländern – und es ist wunderschön, Teil dieser Bewegung zu sein“, schließt sie mit einem Lächeln.
