British Horse Feeds are thrilled to announce the appointment of Jess Blackford as Area Sales Representative for the Southwest. Jess joins us with a wealth of experience in the equine industry and a passion for equine gut health and nutrition.
Jess graduated from Bristol University with a BSc Hons degree in Equine Sport Science and went on to be an Equine Territory Manager at Protexin for nine years. Jess combines this experience with her hands-on equestrian knowledge to bring a unique blend of expertise and enthusiasm. Her role will focus on building relationships with trade customers and expanding an educational outreach to the equestrian community.

Jess expressed her excitement about joining the company: “I’m very excited for my next adventure with BHF having used their products for many years. I have owned and ridden horses for as long as I can remember – they are my passion and my hobby, and I love that I get to combine this into my work. Apart from riding the horses, I have a very sweet tooth which means I must try and stay fit. I have just completed my third London Marathon and I’m sure will be doing a fourth in the future.”
