The 2025 edition of the USPA Carlos Gracida Memorial came to a thrilling close at La Herradura Polo Club in California’s Santa Ynez Valley, with Team Wanda emerging as champions and taking home the $25,000 prize.
In a tournament that honors the legacy of one of polo’s greatest icons, the final match delivered both intensity and emotion. Memo Gracida was named Most Valuable Player, recognized for his leadership and outstanding performance throughout the tournament. The award was presented by Carlitos Gracida, eldest son of the late Carlos Gracida, adding a deeply personal and symbolic touch to the moment.
The Best Playing Pony award went to Damajuana, played and owned by Keko Magrini. The mare’s power, agility, and connection with her rider were instrumental in Team Wanda’s success on the field.
The event brought together top-level teams, passionate supporters, and the unmistakable spirit of La Herradura Polo Club. From the grooms and organizers to the sponsors and fans, every detail contributed to an unforgettable weekend of sport and tribute.
