Player Nacho Boronat, from La Tarde Polo Club, experienced his first participation in La Saga Challenge in Saint-Tropez, and his impression couldn’t be better.
“Spectacular, it’s my first time here and I loved the club. Excellent fields, great facilities, and amazing energy from everyone here.”
The team arrived with the goal of refining their horses and gaining competitive rhythm at the start of the season—an objective they are successfully achieving, according to Boronat.
“The idea was to come here to start the season, get the horses ready, and pick up the pace. It’s working out well, and we’ll likely do the same next year.”
La Tarde Polo Club continues with an intense European schedule. At the end of the month, the team returns to Munich, Germany, where they will compete in nine tournaments. In August, they will travel to Italy, and in September, they will finish their season again in Saint-Tropez, where the international polo circuit continues to offer high-level challenges.
La Saga Challenge not only marks the beginning of the sporting year for Boronat and his team but also reinforces Saint-Tropez’s status as a European polo hub.
