The “The Most Voted” event by PoloHUB, presented by Canon, has proven to be an annual phenomenon that captivates the global polo community. The participation in this event not only reflects the enthusiasm of fans but also underscores the growing importance of community interaction and engagement in the polo world.
The voting for “The Most Voted 2024” was conducted with the participation of 24,648 followers, achieving a total of 93,820 interactions during the 24 hours of voting on Christmas Day 2024. This level of engagement reflects a solid base of committed fans who actively contribute to determining the best players and events of the year. Comparing to the previous edition in 2023, which recorded over 76,000 votes, there is a clear trend of increasing participation and interactions within the PoloHUB community. In 2024, 76.7% of the votes came from followers, while 23.2% were from non-followers, highlighting the event’s reach beyond the regular fan base.
The high level of participation in PoloHUB’s voting event indicates the great interest and passion that polo sparks in a global audience. The combination of followers and new participants suggests growing interest and diversification in the audience following these events. This interaction not only strengthens the polo community but also allows organizers and sponsors, like Canon, to better identify and understand public preferences and trends.
In terms of results, in the Best 1 category, Jeta Castagnola stood out with 56% of the votes, while Lukin Monteverde was voted Best 2 with 40%. Poroto Cambiaso was the Best 3 with 56%, closely followed by Pablo Mac Donough with 41%. In the Best 4 category, Barto Castagnola received 40% of the votes. The Best Polo Club was Guards Polo Club with 40%, followed by Saint Tropez and NPC of Palm Beach, both with 30%. The Best Amateur Player of 2024 was Federico Fleitas with 38%, followed by Sarah Magness with 37% and Sebastián Aguettant with 25%. For the Best Private Tournament, the Ellerstina Gold Cup won first place with 60%, while Argentina Polo Tour and Copa Zafiro were also in the category. The Best Triple Crown Jersey went to La Dolfina with 39% for their Under Armour jersey. In the special Polo Photographers category, Argentine Pedro Insaurralde won with 67% of the votes. At Palermo, the Best Stand went to La Martina with 49% of the votes, standing out not only for its aesthetics and location but also for the events organized at the stand, such as the Formula Polo World Cup launch, the Saint Tropez season, and the Punta del Este season presentation by Estancia Santa Cruz. The Best Polo Campaign had three leading brands in the voting, with RAM winning by 46% thanks to their ties with La Dolfina and La Natividad, followed by Jeep with 37% and RUS with 18%.
